xD Can I hold that hand instead? I have fallen and I can't get up! Awesome cosplay is awesome. I love that you painted it on rather than get the ones that are already printed on the fabric.

Thanks, I try to be authentic as possible and considering Simon "Ghost" Riley painted the orignal mask, I figured I would do the same to make the kit more accurate.

The equipment portrayed is not 100% accurate to the equipment he used in the game. However all equipment is mil-spec and authentic. There is an actual SAPI plate in the carrier and Kevlar in the low-vis carrier underneath the plate carrier.

The gear, equipment and gun used were based on the research I've done on the Character from information gathered from the game, comics, and other reputable sources. So the gear and equipment used here would be things within his choice for use in combat.

Hmm since I saw it was the 'Favela' kit, I would have figured it was the suit that had the over sized hanker chief around his neck and he was wearing just a regular shirt under neath all his equipment. ( Sorry, I think I've stared at him more through the game than anything else... )

I do love how you put it together though. The M16 or M14? with the grenade launcher looks amazing too! Ugh I can only imagine wearing all of that I would be sweating and dying! I give you major props for looking at all the details and making it as accurate as possible!

I would have really loved to see it in person and request a photo shoot. n.n I went through all the pictures and they all look amazing!

The "handkerchief" you are referring to is the shemagh, I used to use it for certain kits, but found it redundant as I already have a mask on. So the shemagh really served no purpose other than just looks at that point, so I opted to get rid of it, no sense adding noise to the kit.

He wasn't wearing a regular shirt actually if you look at him closely he is wearing a long sleeve uniform top with a raid cut. Considering the time period I assumed he would probably use a combat shirt and judging by the color I opted for the FROG-2.

He was using the CIRAS in the game however after all my experience using it I found it to be a pretty awful thing to wear in a Favela style environment. It is designed for comfort and protection but it's damn hard to be nimble with it. So I opted for a plate carrier and a low-vis carrier combo as he would probably prefer speed and mobility over heavy armor.

The rifle I have there is the Mk18 Mod 1 with a 14.5in barrel setup and a M203 launcher mounted under it. I also have a Mk14 EBR however I'm not 100% if Ghost used it or would have used it based on the research.

The stuff is hot at times, but I'm used to wearing all the gear on the field so it's not too bad. The kit all together weighs just under 40lbs.

And about the photo shoot, I'll be posting some pics with white backgrounds ready for use as stock material for people, figured this type of material might be useful for some folk. It's not a photo shoot but heck it may have do.
